You have come across the web-guff of a moron by the name of shoinan:
A) Leave immediately before you catch something from this schmuck.
B) Satisfy your morbid curiosity and read more of this putrid filth.

So the Game Developers Conference 2008 has come and gone as so many finite events do. Unsurprisingly, I’ve been unable to attend, but I have been diligently keeping track of all the latest news from San Francisco. In fact I was inspired to write a really great article about a possible utopian future for video game development and the simple steps required to get there.

What’s that coming over the hill? Is it a 15-rated game for the Wii? I don’t believe you. Here’s a review of Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles aka ‘Resident Evil: Relive the Clichés of Yore’

The fairer half and I went to this cosy Ethopian restaurant last night in Kentish Town called The Queen of Sheba. The food was absolutely gorgeous; if you’ve never tried Ethopian food I heartily recommend it. I can’t remember what my meal was called, but if you see the words ‘lamb’, ‘ginger’, ‘butter’ and ‘turmeric’ together, order that bad boy and await your food-gasm.

Valentine’s Day: A special day… a time of year to enjoy a romantic dinner with that special someone, to walk on a moonlit beach, holding hands and whispering sweet nothings, to switch on your PlayStation 3 and finally find true love. Yes, I’ve fallen for a girl, and her name is Riff: Everday Shooter. Oh God, I hope she is a she.

New Year’s Eve: I was sticking post-it notes adorned with my friends’ phone numbers and suggestive messages onto the toilets of a bar in Shoreditch. The team at Naughty Dog were most likely having a much better time celebrating the success of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and probably toasting to its sequel. It was revealed as 2008 dawned that ‘Uncharted 2′ would see the light of day – so said Naughty Dog co-president Christophe Balestra in an interview with French news website LCI.fr.

Whenever controversy rears its disgusting head there are those who suffer and those who do not. Or to be more precise, there are those for whom negativity surrounds like a crazed pack of rabid dogs, and then are those who show themselves to be above their peers, gently stroking a newborn puppy with palpable love whilst making sure someone’s got a camera rolling. This happens in politics, in the world of celebrity, in just about everything. Video game journalism certainly falls under the latter’s umbrella.
